Eighteen years ago, I dropped out of school at 16 and moved to England. Every day, when my alarm went off at 5am to go work in MacDonald’s, I felt miserable.

I’d drag myself through 12-hour shifts, often doing 7 days a week, only to cry myself asleep at night. Then I’d go through all the motions again the next day.

Back then my dream was to be a dancer. Now I teach yoga, run trainings, sell online content and travel all over the world teaching workshops.

I never did get my dream to perform as a dancer, but I don’t think that dream would have made me as happy as I now am.

I’ve realised that life is the dance and true happiness comes from constantly growing as a person, but also helping others achieve their dreams too.
